Disco II starting problems

Hi all,
My Disco II starts fine in the summer but not in the winter.
It turns over nicely but will only start when I press and release the throttle.
Otherwise runs well.
Have checked glow plug resistance which seems to be OK
I have put my Hawkeye on it but no codes come up.

Any other ideas please?

When did you last change your fuel filter? Have you checked your fuel pump? that would be a start. Also go and introduce yourself in the 'Introduce Yourself' section before it's noticed you haven't

Plenty of knowledgeable people here willing to give help, but asking for help on your first post isn't recommended

Also put your location, asking for help without a location isn't helpful.
