Disco door locks

This is my third new thread post today. My car is slowly dying! I have a 2003 disco auto diesel. In the same week both the boot door and drivers door are not unlocking with the remote. I can open the drivers door from the inside or with the key from the outside but obviously the boot door has no key hole - therefore having to climb over from inside to unlock boot - very annoying. Have been told it is probably the motors as each door has its own. Is this likely to be the case and would 2 have gone within a day or two of each other. Don't want to replace them if it could be something else. Anyone know how much they cost?

I have just bought a new back door lock for £60 as it was not opening from either side. I don't know about the front though. Hope this helps. 

inside the locks are tiny springs that hold the buttons up and down respectively, 15 of your pounds buys them, so not too expensive but a right pig to change them.
