Disco 300 Tdi Engine and Auto gearbox only 73 000 miles, just had head done with new bolts ect,

£400 Or Would swap for Good Petrol 2.5 to fit Series 2.

That was what I was thinking Mate, But my last one was a 110 300tdi conversion, and it was a right pain having to move things about making extra brackets, and lengthening pipes ect ect. Think putting one in to a Series will be even more hassle.
Really just want something that drops straight in and connects up. well thats the plan anyway.

Iirc 300 in a series runs into trouible with the offsdie engine mount fouling oil filter?

Yes Mate heard about that too, done a lot of reading up on the coversion.
Dont get me wrong it has and can be done, but only if your clever, and I Aint Clever

I rememeber a guy on the series 2 forum having all sorts of fun trying to make it work, bit heath robinson in the end, not sure how he got on long term?
