Disco 1 wheels and tyres?

Hi guys, wil 265/75/16 on moduler wheels go straight on my standard disco without any modification to the front bumper? Also will I need spacers for the rims? Thanks
 
also depends what offset on the modulars, as will loose steering lock - trust me on that one - been there, done that :rolleyes:
 
The tyres I've got at are just legal, I'm wanting to replace them with all terrain tyres, my budget is about £250 with Xmas round the corner, was looking at getting insa turbo Saharas or similar, all over budget, 2nd hand set is my only option at moment, thanks
 
ive got 235s but the kingpins on pretty much stock disco you will need to move the steering stops if the insas are anything like the same size as they rub on the radius arms on full lock
 
A friend as put them on his disco, he said same as you, but after 2 weeks they stopped rubbing, so in theory a 2nd hand set should be ok I think , Im just having trouble finding a set that don't come with rims on eBay and wanting top money for them,
 
try tyres direct ok there remolds but hey i dont do 90 mph everywhere and they are fine as to them stopping rubbing hes probably took the corner of the tread it i pay for a tyre i want the whole tyre
