Disco 1 Rear door hinge pin removal?

I've done a search but can't find any info. The top hinge pin on the back door of the Disco has corroded through and needs changing before the weight of the spare wheel causes the bottom one to go as well. Has anyone ever changed one of these pins or is it better to change the entire hinge, assuming the hinge is removable? any advice.

open, support taildoor with hi-lift or something, remove doorcard, unbolt and swap out the hinge.

Thanks thats exactly what I needed to know, I've never stripped a rear door before and wasn't sure if they were a bolt on part or if the door side was welded on. It just so happens I know someone breaking a Disco in the same colour so email sent already. :D

under the door card, the bolts are hidden under rubber gromets.

Easy peasy to change the hinge, just dont try doing it in a high wind!

Ask him how much he wants for the top hinge while he`s at it!:D

Haha...fight you for it...lol. yeah the top one has sheared and have to keep lifting the door slightly to close it. Might as well change them both while I have the door card off as the bottom one has some movement in it Plenty of Discos breaking on fleabay though, but it does help if they are the right colour :D
 
If you saw the state of my disco after last weekends laning mate i wouldn`t care if it was fluffy pink with rabbits on it!
 
On the subject of disco 1 back door hinges.

Are all discovery back door hinges the same or have they made them different for each series/model ??

interchangeable or not ??
