I know this has been covered before but a lot of the info is spread between various threads and some of it is contradictory so...
I am going to lift the body on my Disco by 2" as I have larger wheels and they catch a bit.
I am choosing a body lift because I want to keep the center of gravity a little lower than it would be if I did a suspension lift to help at any tipy bits.
So far I have bought the following.
I need to do the following before beginning to lift the body
Obviously raise one side at a time carefully checking nothing else is being stretched or clamped.
A couple of points I can't find the answer to.
Its an Auto, do I need to do anything or will the selector just move with the body?
I also have working air con do I need more pins for the air con rad?
I hope to take lots of photos whilst doing it and see if I can get a definitive guide together in one place.

So far I have bought the following.
- 2"in blocks with longer bolts.
- Transfer box lever extension.
- radiator mounts extensions.
- Boot floor support blocks (as I'd quite like my dog to still be where I left him at the end of a journey).
- 2" extended brake lines.
- Extended seat belt tie rods
- Can of plus gas
I need to do the following before beginning to lift the body
- Remove both bumpers
- Undo the fuel filter mounting
- Undo the steering column bolts
- Undo the rear seat belt mounts.
- Loosen the fuel filler hose.
