just got reg doc back from dvla on a 1969 series 2 station wagon i recently bought, i noticed that under the taxation class were it should read historic vehicle, it says disabled, now i am not disabled so should i get this changed back to being an historic vehicle, and will this be a problem?

You need to get it changed, or plod will do you.
Had to do it for one of my vans.....needed to go to a DVLA office for checks :( Hope that doesn't happen to you, so good luck!

you can do it at the post office now. They just scan the logbook or tax reminder and once you've paid the normal plg tax amount the dvla will issue the new v5.

sorry. I didn't realise it was as old as that. yep. get historic tax. Not sure if you can do this at the post office. Where I go, he told me he could do all tax class swaps apart from agri.

thanks just noticed there is a footnote under the vehicle changes section saying that this can only be done when it is taxed, trouble is is that i will be restoring it to sell and wont be taxing it because it has to have insurance on it to tax it, nothing is ever easy

was just a bit worried that it might frighten a potential buyer off, i have emailed dvla today and put the ball in there court.will post there answer when i get it.
