its a series landrover! anything is possible including a modded salisbury on the front of a 88. as ave sed before when i gort me 111 it had a 24 spline shaft on one side and a 10 spline shaft on the other. so just cause the book says one thing, it dint mean that after all these years things are still the same. fer example am pretty sure LR dint fit poogut engines into series landies but there is more than a few about with poogut injuns . its always a good idea to check with these things before yer run orf and order the wrong bit.

No pit :( nervious of using heat under car. Had a rangey go up in flames on me:S Had a two foot braker and feet on chassis and tugged like fek rolled up kerb that I was using as wheel stop with hand brake on :(

wot i did was to lock the flange with a flat bar and two of the flange bolts and then use a socket, a long arm and a hydraulic jack to break the joint.

is that a good idea with the series half shafts taking the load - mite end up with stripped splines? betta to lock the flange if yu can, then use a socket.

yer int gonna stuff the splines unless yer air gun has as much HP as yer injun, inwhich case dump yer injun and fit a compressor in its place
