Diff Lock light on after MOT

Hullo,

Got my Disco back after the MOT, garage closed for Xmas just after I picked it up. The Diff Lock light is on, 2nd gear is juddery and reversing is grating/grinding. Is it just a matter of wound up transmission? How do I fix this? I don't want to have to wait until the New Year to be back on the road. The garage did fix my handbrake as part of my MOT....

jack a front wheel up and try and turn it if it wont disengage diff lock ,does hand brake shoes fully clear drum when off, jacking a rear wheel up will allow you to check that ,id check clutch res and system to see if clutch is fully clearing ,then lets us know what you find

Sorted it. Drove it back and forth a little in Low with diff lock on then off.
