just a quick one, i have just about finished wiring up everything on my 109 200tdi project and got to the point of connecting the fuel tank sender up, i checked in the manual for the wiring colour that goes to the sender and found it in with the wiring loom near the rear lights and as this was the only one left i thought it must be the one i checked with a 12 volt test light and got power when ignition was turned on, now i thought that the sender worked on a resistance basis and not with a 12 volt feed, i did connect it up and it did work, so i assume that this is ok
