I am trying to improve my ser 2 1/2 bit by bit and have noticed that air is sucking in to the join between the butterfly/servo adaptor and the inlet manifold.

I can see some large flat hex heads around the adaptor and want to get some answers before I start spannering them.
  • I would guess that these bolts just locate the adaptor and tightening them would be likely to strip threads rather than making the joint tighter as they look to be done up all the way.
  • There should, I guess, be a seal inside so is this an internal O-ring? Or a rubber face seal? Or something else that I need to buy before I start?
  • With this sealed up I assume my brakes might improve a bit... not that they are bad in the first place.
