diesel injector pump still a prob

wondered if i can put an injector pump from a defender with a turbo into my diesel na defender pump looks same just the turbo one has two threaded holes on side where mine has a plug.can i put plugs in the holes?(prob for air for turbo) and use the pump normally?:scratching_chin:

They are different part numbers ERC6761/ETC7136. If there is a fuelling change when the turbo kicks in which the turbo model is designed for, then it probably won't fuel the non turbo properly at higher revs.
just a thought - I don't know for sure.
