Hi my Freelander is making grindy bearing noises at front.......if you brake
it reduces drastically......I have had new pads and disks and new wheel bearings........still bad if not worse.......
The noise varies with road speed and is apprant right up through to at lease 60mph..........dipping the cluch makes no difference....but a light tap of the brakes does.
I have changed the oil in the ird and put some friction reducer in....
(I have owned truck 6 months now....noticed that the car was tight....and replaced vcu....this made the truck feel great.......)
I fear the IRD is dying.......... this is making me very depressed.....is there any chance the new brake pads could be installed incorrectly....causing grindy symptoms............
