got 300tdi when ignition is at stage 2 injection pump making buzzing sound but when engine is running the noise has gone and engine is running ok( have checked and there is no bees stuck under the bonnet) thanks for any info

If your car is an auto,96my on then it is an EDC,(fly by wire) pump - this noise is normal.

thanks for the info and yes its a 97 P reg auto but i will also look at the selanoid aswell thanks guys, thought i was going to have to replace the pump

just put my car in to garage for abs light and asked them about the noise and he confirmed it is the selanoid but it is normal for a auto box so abit more happier about that
