Hi guys just got some AT tyres for my diso from tyre monkey at a good price but they are out of stock for my defender. Looking for mud tyres 205/80 R16 anyone know somewhere decent to get them and a good price? Iv seen kingpin are cheap but not sure how good they are.Any hel much appreciated thanks

Horses for courses 205 Mud tyres would be fine too. Thin tyres cut through the mud to the firmer ground underneath to find grip
It will also depend on terrain and driving style.

Ive got General Super All Grip, 5 yrs old and amazing, live in Snowdonia they really perform in snow, mud, loose slate, grass, towing, pretty much everywhere.

Used to have the big mud tyres 205 etc on a 90 and a 110 and will be sticking to the 750 16's ive got on steel rims. It has to be said the local quarries run landy 110 and 90 they all use this size of tyre and a mix of goodyear and general tyres and theyre off road every day and tackle mud, loose slate allsorts and massive gradients.

General Super All Grip 750 16 Tough as old boots and grippy all round

Cheers Andy

hahahahaha! :D

If you intend to go offroad dont fit anything bigger than 265/75's without lift. The articulation will push the wheels too far into the arches and cause you problems.
