2000 (10P) Defender 90 with VNT running a Stage 3 Storm map and boost around 1.6-1.7bar, 265/75R16 AT wheels, Allisport intercooler, 1.2 ratio transfer box, no MAF, big K&N cone filter (from Honda S2000).
Cannot get above 75-80MPH, get to around that speed and all that happens is the EGT's continue to rise, although it gets there fairly quick.
I have noticed that my Nanocom correctly reads the High/Low state of the transfer box (and it changes when the level is moved). Is this an error (as in am I running the Low map in High?) as I thought Nanocoms were meant to read it wrong? Could it be as simple as just this causing the lack of top end power?
On further inspection holding the revs at a steady 2400rpm, engaging Low drops the revs to around 1100rpm. This would seem correct for the low range throttle map?
Things I have replaced:
* head gasket
* injectors (new reconditioned ones from Merlin Diesel)
* injector loom
* FPR (fuel pressure is good)
* all filters
* fuel filter housing
* crank sensor
* throttle pedal
* wheels - it was running 33x12.5R15's
* probably lots of other things I have forgotten
