Hello folks, I am new to this forum and would like to tap into members knowledge regarding a part number for a replacement td5 defender diesel filter head I need?

LAND ROVER PART PART NUMBER ON BOX IS WJN 500090 THIS IS NOW WJN 500150

Is the above statement correct please??? thanks Garry [email protected]

And then go in to the defender section and ask in there.

Are you sure that the filter head has cracked or have you changed the filter and accidently left an old seal in place?

When do we get to call you susan?:confused::D
 
Once susann gets round to doing the necessary I'd be very keen to see the answer...... The filter head on mine is cracked across both mounting bolt holes - managed to clamp it back on with wide washers, but definitely leaking since fitting new filter so I guess the crack has propagated across the internal pipework too.....

What are all the 4 inlet/outlet fittings? Just unions with holding nuts, or more complex?

I'll subscribe to thread (no idea where it is as I just got here on a search) and see what comes up.... Cheers peeps. A

If its the srew on type filter I suspect its been Overtightened, it should have a smear of oil on rubber and hand tight and a tiny bit more :)
