Sorry, daft question but I am looking to try and replace the leaking swivel on my front axle. I have rang a few suppliers to request the parts but they seem divided upon the topic of whether my vehicle has abs. I cannot see an extra wire for the sensor going to the wheel and I don’t notice an abs light on the ignition when I start. Is there an easy way to establish this? I have given a number of suppliers my chassis number and opinion is divided. Thanks

Get up to about 40mph and stand on the brakes. If the Defender pulls up straight you have ABS. If the rear wheels lock up and it skews sideways and ends up on the verge, you don’t have ABS.

Or try what l suggested.

Obviously make sure there are no other vehicles around when you do it. If you have ABS you will also feel a vibration in the pedal as the ABS system modulates brake pressure.

Watch this video, if you have a silver alloy module like the one in the video with brake pipes to and from it on inner wing in front of your brake servo you have ABS, if you dont have one you wont have ABS.
