Defender starting problems

Hi guys

My 300tdi has always been a poor starter, It cranks over slowly like the battery is flat however I when it was serviced the guy said the battery was ok.

It always just manages to start but today Its down -8 and it wont.

any ideas what I could be?

How many CCA's is the battery? Bigger the better.

Im not sure I cant get the bonnet open at the moment, seems to be frozen shut

Ill have a look when I can

Are you sure the battery is under the bonnet?
