My speedo is a bit erratic (they all do that sir). Ive just started upgrading the interior of my 90 and the speedo cable is held in with duct tape and cable ties. Decided the best thing is to change it whilst its all apart. Does anyone have one they want to offload as an individual instrument or as a collective within the binnacle.
Not sure how changing one and the log book/MOT works but its a '87 model that has 43k on the clock, somehow I think its been changed before!

If the needle is bouncing about. It could be the drive cable not the actual speedo at fault.

Thanks Kes, the previous owner has already changed the cable, 1st time i stopped by he was underneath it doing it so I know he ws telling the truth ;)

Just thinking while I have it all apart and the poor fit on the rear of the unit I may as well change it out :D
