I wonder if anyone could make some suggestions as to what i might of done wrong? In summer i bought a truck cab td5 with the intentions on converting to a hardtop, which i have done but i cant get the doors to line up at the top? I've had the tub off due to doing some work on chassis etc and thought it would be easier to do it this way, so when i have put tub back on and bolted everything on inc sides and roof nothing seems to line up very well at all especially the doors at the top there miles out. Looks like i am going to have to take the back off again and look at where i have gone wrong? Any ideas anyone?

Cheers lee

Not that I know much, but does the tub line horizontally with the doors and wings?
My truck cab tub sits high at the back when you follow the lines, poss cause is the bulkhead needs aligning forward, as I said I don't know that much, but just a thought....

I have not actually touched the bulkhead but the front of the tub looks like it needs to lift up in order to align the doors as the gap at bottom of doors is say half inch but the top it goes to nothing

I wouldn't say taking the tub off again is going to achieve much.
But you could try loosening it all and stick a jack under the front edge and see if it will lift slightly.
But sounds like it could be more bulkhead alignment seen as it was originally a truck cab.

Fit the tub and then line everything up from there, as its not really adjustable in position and it's a datum...

There are ali shims which fit behind the large brackets,( which in turn bolt to the footwells), on the bulkhead.
These are slotted and can be removed/added as you wish...

Knock up some slotted spacers to go in any gaps that are between the front outrigger and 'A' post mounting to save removing the large bolts which can be a pig to get in...
You may need to spread the a posts out using a bottle jack...

Also noticed the sides arent lined up with tub they look like they need to come back and the sides need to come out slightly at the bottom

Do you have any pictures showing alignment?
Not to sound funny, but it sounds like you're expecting a lot.
If you want it the best you can, start from scratch, set the bulkhead up etc.

Give up dont seem to be working and my patience is going and the phones going through the window in a minute

what is the file name?

me.jpg?

If you join photobucket you need to go into the settings to make yer details/photo's private. that way peeps can only see them if they have the link you post on ere.

looks like it needs the bulkhead brackets slackening - the big bolts need a shim between the bracket and the chassis to tilt the top of it towards the front - might need pulling forward with a pair of ratchet straps before you nip up the brakets going to the chassis.
