sharp stanley knife and wouldnt glue it just cut to size and the carpet should hold it in place.

plan to do mine with camping mats at some point for a little extra sound proofing

What about strips of sticky back velcro? It will hold it in but come out for offroading/drying after a light shower :D fraid to say that glue isn't a good idea, it will never dry out and start to smell. As gegs88 said, cardboard templates are good, i used em to help lining mine with rubber...just need to get round to finishing it:rolleyes:

I did mine a while ago, used the mats that go under washing machines to stop them vibrating, cut them with a new stanley blade and didn't glue them, they don't move unless I want them to.
Be careful not to get any fuel on them as it causes them to disintegrate.
