Defender Engine swap - RR 200Tdi for SJ19

Has anyone got any comments on the feasibility of removing a SJ19 2.5TD from a 1988 110 CSW and replacing it with a 200Tdi from a 1993 Range Rover (both manual gearboxes). Can it be done? Any likely problems?

what gearbox has it got? i think it just need the bell housing changing. Ross

I see no problem, I have the same engine at the moment, non turbo version, and a friend had an identical one to that, which was removed to be replaced by a 200tdi.
