If I want to fit wiring conduit between the door and the a post, I'd use this part -

But.. holes? Is there a template about or do I have to make it up as I go along?

Thank you.

I have put these on two defenderers and it was quite straightforward. I had a quick look at a door with a factory fitted one for location. Then a large drill bit (probably around 19mm) then just a square file and some protection on the bare metal

If I had one to copy, then I don't think it would be an issue, but, at present, all I have is a few photos off the web.

I think (don't know) that puma doors are different again, so I figure the chances of me finding a random local td5 with the ducting isn't that great.

I mean, my friend has a td5, but without the ducting, so I guess it's only present on the more expensive options.

Just drill the pillar here and file/drill with 2/3mm bits to a rectangle the same size as the inside of the rubber grommet. The door card might need a small bit removed to allow the rubber through and the inside of the door should have the notch to hold the other end in place
