Hi Im looking to buy a 1983 Defender 90 which has 280,000km on it with an Isuzu 2.5 diesel turbo engine and a terrible gear box please advise as to what this is worth or whether to steer clear? The body work is excellent but interior needs work which I am happy to do? Also how much should I pay for a new gear box? Thanks so much for your guidance I am a novice.
