Defender 90 with disco 300tdi

Hi guys, as seen in the title I have a 90 with a 300tdi from discovery, wondering if ill have issues with replacing cooling sensor/ gauge. Planned on having sensor for 300tdi and then the 90 gauge. Just want to make sure they'll work together before purchasing parts.
Relatively young and new to defender scene.

You need the sender from a 90/110 not the disco

I was wondering what a " diaco " is.

Fit an after market Gauge that reads in numbers degrees and know what the temp is.
Tim and Durite are two well known makes.

After market gauges come with their own matched sender, you just need the right one for your engine thread fitting. Check with supplier you choose.

I can recommend durite or TIM gauges.

junk the landrover items (they are at best just an indication anyway) and fit either a capillary or electrical guage from one of the above manufacturers. Will be much more accurate and better than faffing around with trying to get mismatched Land Rover components working!

When I put a 300tdi in my 110, I just fitted a 300-Defender temperature sender and used the standard gauge from the 110. Works fine.
