Any one have any good ideas about how I can fit a rear winch and towbar to my new defender 90 that doesn't sod up the departure angle too much

Fit an adjustable height tow bracket and buy a second slide/mounting plate

Run 2 x 50mm welding cables (+ n - battery) to a suitable plug mounted at the rear, make up a mounting plate for the winch to bolt to the spare slider, fit and plug in winch when required...........simples...

ZZR1200, bike and landy I presume - good init! just bought a VN900 last summer cuz the law didn't like me on the nija!!

I already have a dixon-bates on the back and was thinking just that by using a warn mount like here with a receiver but the mount works out a shed loads of dosh for a bit of metal. My thoughts were to get a bracket fabricated so it went onto the dixon-bates ladder but wasn't sure about strength etc
