Hi guys.
I'm after some help. I have, today, fitted a fuel pump cut of to my 2014 Puma.
All working fine and doing as it should do. But, as I came to lock the car up I went to start the car one last time and it seems to be immobilized. I turn the key in the ignition, all lights, radio etc come on. But, nothing else happens......any advice or help is very much appreciated.

Many thanks.

These modern vehicles don't like being messed with, for instance if you try to start it with the fuel cut off activated it may produce a fault as the ECU will detect low fuel pressure, and may shut off the engine.

Unlike the TD5, my Transit Connect TDCi was not self priming, so if it had fuel starvation (say after changing the fuel filter) you'd have a hell of a job getting it started again.
Not sure if the Defender TDCi is similar, but l bet it is knowing Ford
