I wouldn't get too hung up on mileage to be honest as a lot of components may have been replaced anyway! As Adrian says my priority would be the chassis and bulkhead, then I'd want to see service history (if done by owner then when did they last change fluids etc) and receipts to see what work has been done eg cambelt change.

You can't do that with a Land Rover to be honest. Mine is just short of 200,000 but it's all new... Engine is about 150,000, gearbox less than 20,000, transferbox 150,000 (came from same vehicle as the engine) front axle is brand new, rear axle is about 190,000 but has all new insides... see where I am going.
You need to know your apples here and have a good look if you want to pick a good one.

Condition and spec are probably the biggest things to look for. All the oily bits are fairly easy to change. Biggest hassle is rust, so as others have said, chassis is number 1, bulkhead number 2, as these are the main places you get corrosion on a Land Rover.
These bits are still fixable, but take more effort and money.
Swapping in another engine, gearbox, axle is relatively easy and cheap.
