Defender 90 alarm issue!

Evening guys, I'm not sure whether I'm aloud to ask for help and advice or where the post needs to go!
When i lock my defender it locks and 2 seconds later it unlocks. On occasion the hazards start after 30 seconds or so. Any one had this problem? Also I have a air horn instead of a beep beep. So its obvious been changed from the old owner, is this something I can convert back easily?

Possibly low volts in your car battery. Check that first, anything below12.2 volts is discharged. Should be at least 12.5 volts.

‘Bounce back’ depends on the type of door actuator u have, its a not unknown issue in the early RR and disco and resolved by a simple slight readjustment of the drivers door actuator.
Flashing hazards could be an indicator of the security system is in an alarm condition as the system detects voltage drop although the alarm sounder should sound as well.

Check your under bonnet alarm switch is straight, if it is slightly bent over the bonnet will not make enough contact to push ghe switch down, its on the bulkhead near the brake servo on my TD5, I dont know what defender you have.
