Evening gents, when I lock the old girl she locks then unlocks! I have changed the fob battery and am also changed all door contacts but it hasn't changed anything! Any help?
Cheers!

Unplug the interior sensor and try the alarm. If the alarm goes off plug the sensor back in Open the bonnet and tape down the bonnet sensor.

Try the alarm again if it still goes off, take in to Land Rover garage plug it in and ask them to tell you what the last 10 alarm activations were.

Bit of a thinking aloud moment here, but it sounds like the mircoswitch thinks the door is open, so it auto unlocks again thinking maybe you are going to lock yourself out.

when it happened to me, I squirted some WD40 in the actual key slot and opperated the key several times, it the key is not in the right poosition when you remove it then it just springs back open.
If its the bonnet switch or the door switch then ususaly the horn sounds when you try to lock it with the fob.

Usually the bonnet alarm switch that requires straightening so it contacts the bonnet properly, also try turning off the interior light.
