Defender 90 300tdi chassis

Finally got everything off this and would like it out of my shed.

After spending a couple of hours with an angle grinder and wire brush wheel I have decided that with some welding and a new crossmember that it would make a good chassis for someone.

The back 1/3 of the chassis has a few holes in, hopefully as can be seen in the pics. There is also a small hole on the side, and on the corner of the strengthener for the outrigger. The outriggers themselves are solid.

It has been patched on the bottom of the rails in the past. Nice clean job though.

I will cut out the chassis number, so that will also need welding up.

Mud flaps are free with the chassis!

Not sure how much it is worth, make me an offer. I will leave it on here a couple of days, then put it on ebay.

I guess this is still for sale...will put it on ebay tomorrow if noone is interested.

I'm thinking somewhere around £400 for it, seems to be what they are going for.

I would have had it myself if it was a month or so later once we have moved. I need to get working towards a new chassis next year.

Typical, I'd have had it but the £400 stopped me bothering.... Would have been handy as I've just got a 300TDi Disco for free

I think 50 is bang on, only worth 17 as scrap lol

Grayhair's was in fantastic condition though to be fair.

Though I thought yours would do more than £50.

re the watchers, I get that all the time, 100 watchers and 2-3 people bid at most.
People are just nosy twunts

did they actually come and collect it though. i often get people win an item then just fall off the planet!!

Yeah, it has gone. A couple of guys came and squeezed it into the back of a van. It mostly fitted.
