Was out in my defender this morning cruising down the local dual carriageway when it just started surging like it would loose power then pick up again a second later up to that point on the B roads it was fine. Looked at the Rev counter that was staying in the same place not going up and down like I was expecting. But on the way back I gave it a good hammering so to speak up some long steep hills and it didn’t surge at all. Could this be fuel related I always fill up from the same station and don’t have problems with my other vehicles. The dealer I bought it from last year said it has been remapped? Would it be that?
It’s just had a full service from a independent Land Rover specialist less than 200 miles ago
