While recently driving home in my Land Rover 90, i had smoke coming from the dashboard. As i was onli 2 mins from home i just carried on and decided to look when i got home.
As removing the fusebox cover and undoing the fuse holder, i could see that a wire had burnt through, and this was to do with the lights, which had burnt all the way back to the light switch on the steering column
Is this just a case of replacing the switch and the burnt out wire or is there more to this problem?
Also i am having a problem removing the dashboard to see where else the wire may have burnt, I have looked everywhere for screws but have removed all the ones i can see?
Can anyone help as i am a newcomer to Land Rovers
