Dashboard lit up like the starship enterprise

Reet guys,
I have just replaced the front wheel bearings on a friends FL2 TD4 on an 06 plate.
Prior to this she had the HDC light on.
After: The ABS and TC also came on about half a mile down the road and 10mins after driving it later the brake warning light came on also!
When i sorted the bearings, the struts split fairly easily, on side the ABS sensor also came out, the other side i disconnected it by the connector and left it in situ as the bolt was corroded.
The bearings came out and went back in easy with a shop press and everything went (or seemed to go) back together without a problem.
I also had the battery disconnected for a couple of hours whilst sorting the bearings so not sure if that can throw up any issues.
Ive checked everything ive touched but im at a loss.
Is there something that i am missing?
Feel free to ridicule as i aint into these 'new' cars with flashy lights on the dash as i own a 1961 and 69 hotrods.
Any heads ups are gladly received.

Dodgy battery?

You're only option is to carefully check everything, and obviously make sure the battery connections are secure.

After this, you'll need to run a full systems diagnostic, to see what the issue is.

Are the bearings like a Freelander 1? These can be out in the wrong way round so that the abs magnets are on the wrong side?

Dunno, don't know the FL2 very well.

Yes same design, with the reluctor in the bearing.

I didnt realise they could go in either way so i bet that ive got one or both the wrong way round! you would have thought they would have had some sort of marking on it to say or even be hard to get wrong but everything slid together?
ive also checked the battery and all connections and they are sound.
I guess the magnets in the bearings been the wrong way would account for the ABS and possibly the Traction Control lights? but would it also flash up a brake warning light?

Very possibly, but a diagnostic read would tell you what faults are being detected.

The bearings are marked, some are anyway, with the magnetic side being labelled ABS, but they will fit either way with nothing to prevent it. Easy mistake.

Definitely.
I must admit that when mine needs new bearings, I'm just going to replace the whole hub assembly, as I can't be doing with messing with stubborn bearings, and short life some bearings give after replacement.
