Does any one know why the TC,HAND BRAKE LIGHT and UP/DOWN rear suspension warning lights stay on please.

Discovery 3 or 2? I was only aware of this happening on the D2 (do a search for "Three Amigos").
It can be anything related to the ABS system, from a bad connection within the pump block, to a knackered wheel hub. You need to find someone local with a diagnostic tool (Hawkeye or Nanocom) to be sure what the problem is.
Oh, and usual etiquette here is to introduce yourself first in the Introductions Forum before posting questions. Be prepared for some abuse!
ETA I just saw on your profile that you have a TD5, so it IS a Discovery 2. Please use the correct label, it saves confusion!
