Why is the suction bit is showing. Have you put the camera pointing too high up? The footage from mine doesn't show the suction bit, giving a clear view of the road, bridges, etc. Also have to say I'm glad I have one in car. It's supported me twice in 4 weeks when others have caused issues, including driver of a school bus forcing car, in front of me, into path of oncoming traffic rather than wait to be let into slow moving traffic. I've bought another one for the rear because of tail-gating gits

The only real prosecutions is where old bill used them against the driver of the vehicle they were on.

Not true my mate had a guy prosecuted using his helmet can footage of said guy all most knocking him off his motor bike then speeding off and jumping a red light, guy had his kids all under 5 in his car at the time.

Did his bike have 4 wheels?
They are good for the 2 wheel community if they are behaving but the 4 wheel club almost never if ever is anything ever used, least that's what ou company barrister told us last week.
Patently there is more risk of the footage being used against the driver of the camera car, he pointed put we are not perfect drivers...

No 2 wheels, good clear footage he read out the index number of the car just to be sure. Car driver Sumonds and duly prosecuted.

Agreed , not true. The driver of the school bus was charged under RTA 1988 Sec 3. Still, some people will never learn to be considerate of other drivers until it's them on the receiving end of a charge, supported by dash cam footage.
I have never, and will never, understand why average Joes turn into massive Richards when they get in a veh of some type. Although, some are obviously just Richards at all times
