Dash brake light

Why does the dash brake warning light, light?

Mainly come on under heavy braking.

1989 vehicle, checked the fluid all ok

Anyone any ideas?

Fluid sloping about or switch faulty.

Take the switch apart and clean it up. When I got mine the light was on all the time, i cleaned it up and worked properly then

they are talking about the switch in cap of the fluid reservoir.
