Dash board noise at about 70 mph

I've been queried about a problem that a mate of mine is having with his 2000 P38a 2.5d. When he gets to about 70 mph he gets a sort of rattle from behind the dash. He seems to think it sounds like its caused by wind??? anybody heard of anything similar?? or any clues??

I seam to get the same problem with my 98 rangie. I have tracked it down to two things the first is the finishing strip along the bottom of the windsreen, so I fitted a new one. bit of a tricky job as to not bend the aluminium when clipping it on. The other seams to be the windscreen wiper blade vibrating agains the glass. I think the only fix for this it to put a new wiper arm on ot as the spring seams to have gone tied and cant hold the blade against the glass.
