For years my iPhone 8 has happily connected through Bluetooth so I can receive calls on the move. Not since the last IOS update though.

Unless, of course, something on the car has gone on the blink. (2007 FL2 SE).

Couldn't answer the question as I avoid Apple like the plague. Normally if there's an issue with the BT module, the audio system cycles on and off.

Hmmmm…..dunno if I can help. iPhone SE 2020 and I keep it up to date with all software, 2014 Skoda Octavia with Bluetooth and I have no trouble using music, satnav and phone from the iPhone. Perhaps a hard reset of your phone and a battery disconnect on the car might shock the systems and make them see sense?

Funnily enough @Nodge68 I had a pulsating audio system a few months ago. mentioned it here, but it seemed to go away. Looks like it's returned! Given the age of the vehicle and how rarely I need BT connection I'll probably just live without the functionality. Unless their is a cheap and easy fix.

A working second hand BT module of the same part number will be needed to repair the issue. No configuration is needed when swapping the BT module like for like.
