Hi All, after some time abroad, now getting round to fitting NAS LED lights to the rear of my 1996 300TDi. They're a mix of new and second-hand lights but all residing in new, standard height, plinths. The issue I have is that the two reversing lights (Le Perei) have a long extended inner rear section, which extends way past the plinth base. I'm reluctant to cut a large hole for each in the tub, so was wondering if a position swap with the rear indicator, which has that larger mounting hole, from its outer-most location, to in the middle, with the reversing light outer-most? So the lower, three-way cluster sequence, from outside to inner, would be reverse, indicator and fog. Anyone done this or is it even legal? Tnx.
