I own a 2001 Discovery that is off road. Before I bought the D2 the ignition lock failed and was replaced with a different lock. The old key was still able to unlock each door but the key remote has been lost and I only have two simple old keys. However, the new key remote opened the doors and turns on the ignition, the battery was drained and replaced and now the new key in the ignition will not start the car.
I dont think that using the EKA number (even if I could find it) would sort out the problem due to the two keys, so I want to install an immobiliser bypass. Does anyone know of someone who would do this near Guildford Surrey UK. The car is off road as I use it for managing an agricultural activity.
