Hi all,
I've just replaced the Steering Box in my 2000 D2 TD5. I bought a recon unit from Wester Power Steering after seeing them mentioned a few times on here.
The new box had a slightly different Pitman arm fitted (New Part no. QJF000020 vs Old Part no QJF100140). It was wet, late, and dark so I made the choice to just fit the new different Pitman and see what happened.
Does anyone know what the actual difference between these is, and if it's going to cause me any issues? I've driven the car since and there's no rubbing on catching on full lock, it seems to be fine and I can barely find anything about the two online.
