This has been annoying me since I bought her in 2005/2006. Speedo was converted from KPH to MPH. Odometer is still KPH but clock is now MPH. Problem is that when stationary the needle only sits at 7mph instead of 0mph as its lowest point. Therefore my indicated speed is approximately 7mph faster than actual. How do I fix this so needle is sitting at 0mph?

Thanks.

Was the transducer on the transfer box replaced with a MPH one?
As for the needle, it should sit on zero what ever the transducer.
If there is a fault then the fix is fit a replacement, or if possible get existing repaired and then with the correct recorded mileage.

As it’s not V8 engine specific, you may get info from a Tdi owner as well if you place your question in the disco forum.
