d1 transfer box into a d2 ?

hi can any of you good people out there tell me can i fit my old d1 r380 transfer box into my d2 r380 and if so what would need changing apart from the selector hole in the tunnel .

IIRC the D1 transfer case doesnt have hi/low switch which for the D2 is important but you can bodge that with a toggle switch on the console
