cylinder head

it would in that they both use the same head gasket ,pushrods etc but injectors are different size and may inject in different place and thermostat housing etc are different

As above but you could fit a 200 fuel pump as well to solve the injector problem

i've looked at a 200tdi head and only difference i can see with the injectors isthat the clamps are off to the side rather than in the centre. the clamps look the same. am i right in thinking then that the injectors have a large bore on the 200 or will my 300 ones fit. also on head tighting setups the 300 is 40nm,then +60 degrees,+60 degrees, then +20 degrees on the m12 bolts. the 200 doesn't have the last step.

Injectors are a different size and different pressures I think as well, they wont match the 300 pump but may work ok
Dont know about the head torque stuff, sorry

ok guys well thanks for all the replys. i need to replace the cylinder head on my 300. the one i bought last is wrapped like a banana and cracked. thought maybe about fitting a 200 engine as they seem to be stronger. I know i would to need to move the engine mounts and guessing i would need to change my gearbox to a lt77
