Freelander 2 (LR2) cutting out

hi all

have a hsa landy 08 started up drove along for about 2 mins it cut out and would not start until i took the fob out and locked unlocked doors ect then it would start then when it got going again it would cut out again managed to coax it home put my scanner on it no fault codes come up
any of you good people have any idea

deff not the fuel filter all seems good there im a bit stumped

Think you need to get a full diag done and not just pull engine codes.

What does fuel gauge show? What is the level in the tank?

Any work recently completed on the car?

done a full scan today its showing p0201
p0202 p0203 p0204 injector circuit/open-cylinder 1-4 faults

62 miles left in tank have gone down as low as 20 b4

I suspect those are historical codes, maybe from previous work. The engine won't run all injectors are open or short to ground.

Try putting a lot more fuel in the tank. There's a pump that transfers fuel from one side of the tank to the other, when the level is low. If that pump goes intermittent or fails, fuel can't transfer from one side of the tank to the other. Putting plenty of fuel in will eliminate that pump.

keeps coming up with them same codes after erasing them and starting the thing up really confused
