Right lads, and ladies.

Im looking at buying a 110 CSW, It was brought into ireland and VRT'd (Vehicle Registration Tax) as a 3 seater, so all seats are out of it bar the front seats.
Now, what i want is a 110 Utility, so my question is this, if i put back in the second row seats, put in a bulkhead behind them and blank out the windows in the rear, do i need to go back and re-register it as a 5 seater utility, or is it just a case of getting a DOE (Commercial MOT) done on it with the 5 seats, and informing the insurance company of the extra seats??

Any thoughts on this would be great, from either UK or IRL as it will give me an idea.

Thanks :)

I'd be interested to find out more about this too -- I'd love to convert my 110 CSW to a utility.

I've been told that the side panels from a Series III swb van will fit the 110 to replace the rear side windows, which can be had pretty cheaply on eBay ;)

Over here you'd have to re-register it with the DVLA, if you were adding seats then they may insist you get it officially checked, VOSA or MoT station. If you are just replacing the windows or blanking them off then as far as I'm aware you don't need to do anything. (I may be wrong though, as often am so her in doors says )
