cruise controls

:tea:well I could not believe the difference in prices of the main stealers the cruise controls paddles on the steering wheel cost about 144 I said about because I could not believe it plus the dreaded VAT and the switch was another 40 odd plus vat . I asked at Cradock's and it was less than half for the total amount ,and they order them from LR why! what ! this really wants looking into why do the stealers charge so much . I can not get a able/disable switch of ebay because I have the face lift . I have brought the ecu bit part number SCB10021 I hope that is right just need the other two bits , and yes my wiring is there. but I can not remember when you switch it all on before you pull on the paddles does the light on the dash come on or does that only come on when the paddle is operated.

Mine is the early model so may be different to the facelift? When the main on/off switch is presses in the led on the switch lights up to let you know the system is active. The dash light is only lit when the cruise control is actually activated by the steering wheel paddle.

Hi, have a look on GUMTREE GLASGOW.....there is a guy selling the PADDLE brand new......fairly sure he is a Landzone guy as well, have a look thru the Parts for Sale section as i am sure he has advertised on there......

plus make sure they send u the 2 x small green connection leads

thanks myths I brought them and will let all know when I get them and put them in , the ecu I have I think may be the wrong one as I have been told that it should be SCB100211, and not the SCB10021 that I have I do not know what the difference is though.

Hey, not a problem.....only 2 happy to help......i bought the Volume Switch, just hope the wiring is already in the standard loom so its an easy fit.

Should be fairly easy if its not (famous last words)...

hiya

i think one is for the v6 and the other is a td4 cant remember which one is which apart from the v6 is smaller than the td4

plus i think u know make sure u have a second hand ecu as it will be pre programmed plug and play

i should have all the part numbers in my original cruise control post if that helps
