Does anyone know if the wires and engine parts are fitted to the Freelander as standard for the cruise control facility.

I quite fancy having it on my new vehicle and if its just a case of removing the switch blanks and connecting the dashboard and steering wheel switches I can't see it being too expensive a thing to do.

It was about £250 option on mine I think when new, switch on dash switch on steering wheel the rest of it is Land rover wizardry probably most other bits are there but you have to pay land rover to tweak the magic boxes...thats where they got you...

I thought there might be more to it than the obvious. I know on my Honda GL1500 the electronic cruise control seemed to link into everything.

its conected to the brake switch on the auto and I think it conects to the clutch aswell on the manwell version...some of the landy techies will tell us whats what soon, and let you know if theres an easy option...
